Auxerrois Vieilles Vignes 2018

11,50  TTC

1 star in the Guide Hachette 2021

Guide Comments: “An Auxerrois born from 60-year-old vines planted not far from the Grand Cru Goldert. A little discreet but precise on the nose, it releases aromas of yellow fruits before revealing a supple, balanced and long mouth.”

An Auxerrois with an endearing, tender and distinguished character

Concentrated and complex wine, atypical of the grape variety by its concentration and its fruity expression. It does not envy gourmet Pinots Gris while offering additional freshness and lightness.

Nose: fruity and fresh, intense notes of yellow fruits, peach and mirabelle plum.

Palate: round and fresh, persistent, fruit and ripe lemon. Saline finish.

Muriel’s advice: This Auxerrois Vieilles Vignes is perfect as an aperitif, but also, for example, with pike-perch with Nantes butter, langoustine chaplain, scallop casserole, pike quenelle, crab avocado tartare, supreme of poultry with morels, young and creamy goat and sheep cheeses.
