Our Universe
On the Alsace wine route
The Domaine GUETH
Our 8-hectare family estate is located south of Colmar. The reception area and cellars are modern and easily accessible.
All our grapes come exclusively from our own vineyards. Spread over more than 40 plots between Gueberschwihr, Pfaffenheim, Hattstatt and Vœgtlinshoffen. From the work in the vineyard to marketing, we take care of every stage in the production of our wines. We have a strong, sincere relationship with our customers: we’re proud to be independent winegrowers!
On the Route Romane, Gueberschwihr is a listed historic site at the foot of the Ballons des Vosges nature park. With its 12th-century bell tower and beautiful Renaissance houses, the village is a haven of peace.
In 1609, the Grand Chapter of Basel owned vineyards in Gueberschwihr and also a house with an outbuilding near the Steinbach. This house is noted in the 1689 parish register, in the rue de la source: it is our family home.
The distinguishing marks of which we are proud…
A distinctive mark of the Vignerons Indépendants, this logo symbolises their commitment to quality and authenticity. It is reserved for winegrowers who comply with a strict charter and guarantees that the wines come from vines grown and vinified by themselves, with respect for tradition and the environment. It is a guarantee of confidence for consumers looking for wines of excellence, reflecting the identity and unique know-how of independent winegrowers.

A family story
Muriel, 8th generation of winegrowers since 1725…
Our long line of winegrowers began with Sébastien GUETH, born in 1725, followed by Nicolas, born in 1818, Richard, born in 1848, and Jean-Baptiste, my great-grandfather, born in 1873. My grandfather Auguste GUETH, born in 1903, was the first to put his name on his bottles. In 1982, my parents Jean-Claude and Bernadette set up Domaine GUETH in their ancestral home, and equipped themselves with modern tools. In 1996, I joined the family estate, where I’ve been responsible for all the wine-making ever since.
As a family, we are passionate about our terroirs, our vines and our wines.
In the cradle that my mother set up at the foot of the vines, the leaves fluttering in the breeze were already attracting my attention! By passion and vocation, I chose to become a winemaker, in harmony with nature, in search of the senses and authentic taste. After training in viticulture and oenology, supplemented by 2 internships abroad, I demonstrated my skills and versatility, before making my mark and integrating into the increasingly feminised world of wine. I’m proud to belong to the community of “women of wine”.
I have recently started using my name Muriel GUETH to sign my cuvées, which for me are like my children…
